Services for Mary Elizabeth Annsberry, 70, of 324 N. Vermilion, who died at 4:35 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 13, 1970) at St. Elizabeth Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg, Ind., with the Rev. Frank Brown officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery at Veedersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today. She had been hospitalized since Sept. 3 after being injured in a fall. She was born Dec. 1, 1899 in Veedersburg, the daughter of Thomas and Martha Black Annsberry. She was employed at Meis Department Store for 40 years. Survivors include a son, William of San Antonio, Tex.; two nieces, Mrs. Robert Cheak of Danville and Mrs. Martha Stonebraker of Chicago; and four grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Annsberry Hill of Veedersburg, a former Commercial-News correspondent for that community for many years.
